Author: Alison Wiley

I’m a writer/thinker/activist and a person of faith, living at the base of Mount Tabor here in Portland Oregon. I’ve blogged for years, most recently for EcoFaith Recovery, focusing on climate, social justice and crossing divides. I’ve worked for nonprofits and state government, also as a self-employed artist. For much of 2018 I worked with Oregon’s first black-brown-green coalition to get the Portland Clean Energy Initiative passed (we did it!). I have an M.S. in counseling psychology from California State University Fullerton, and a B.A. in sociology from Wake Forest University. I lead a folk band called Porch Revival. I am a dancing fool.
